About

Old Media New Media is dedicated to the idea that no one person can easily comprehend the dramatic changes transforming all media and communication.

Too old, and you might still hope that everything will turn out alright. Too young, and you might believe that everything will be swept away.

The truth is more complex, and the real trick is to understand how old and new media interact and complement each other.

So two heads for the price of one:

Raymond Snoddy has followed the affairs of the media for more than 30 years, most of it for The Financial Times and The Times, now freelance and presenter of BBC Television’s Newswatch programme.

Oliver Snoddy is a ‘veteran’ of the interactive advertising and social networking business, with more than seven years experience at a senior level – including a director of on-demand movies and TV pioneer Blinkbox, and now Director for Digital Services at New York ad agency Doremus.
